The Franklin Senior Center is a new 16,100 sf facility, that is scheduled for completion in September 2007. The design of this center includes such amenities as a divisible 2,400 sf common room, a cafe, a gift shop, exercise, activities, and computer rooms, as well as a project room with a connected greenhouse/solarium.

The design goals were to create an exciting environment to meet the needs of today's aging population. The latest concepts in energy efficiency and sustainability were employed while creating a project requiring a minimum of maintenance.

This building will serve both the seniors and the community of Franklin for many years to come.
