The Fairbank Senior Center was a 3,000 square foot senior center built as an addition to an existing community center. The senior center maintains a separate identity with a covered walkway at the drop-off and entrance and convenient access to the existing parking. In the interest of keeping the size and cost down, the senior center shares the commercial kitchen and existing gymnasium with the community center. The gymnasium serves as a space for large functions and meals when a gathering exceeds the capacity of the multi-purpose room.
